Vacation Bike Rentals has a new fleet of premium, Class 1 (pedal-assist to 20mph) e-bikes in standard and step-thru frame styles suitable for any paved surface, smooth gravel roads and dirt paths. They have five levels of power assist and a range up to 50 miles. Our bikes are maintained by professional mechanics and inspected before and after every event. They feature brand name components including Bafang motors, Shimano drive-trains and disc brakes, Vittoria or Maxxis tires, Selle Italia saddles, and bright LED lights! Helmets, bags and locks are included with every bike.
Our Equipment
Standard Frame E-Bike
Our Standard Frame e-bike is perfect for multi-surface cycling with the stability of a gravel machine and the comfort of a commuter bike. The Standard has a small bag to accommodate a mobile phone and a pack of gum or maybe a can of chew.
Our Standard is available in medium, large and extra large. The medium fits from 5'6" to 5'10" (168-178 cm), large from 5'9" to 6'1" (175-185cm), and extra large for 6'1" + (185cm+)
Step-Through E-Bike
The Step-Through e-bike accommodates smaller people with ease and comes equipped with a rack and bag to accommodate a windbreaker, water bottle (or a bottle of Rosé), lipstick, sunscreen and other essentials.
The Step-Through is available in two sizes; XS/S and M/L. the XS/S fits from 5' to 5'6" (152-168cm) and the M/L fits 5'4" to 5'10" (162-178cm)
Standard and Mountain bikes are equipped with a top-tube phone bag, Abus Bordo lock and emergency rain poncho.
Mountain E-Bike
Our Mountain e-bike is a hardtail with a plush suspension fork and 2.3” knobby tires to get you off the beaten track and into the wilds of Marin and Mt. Tamalpais. The Mountain has a small bag to accommodate a mobile phone and a snack.
Mountains are available in medium, large and extra large. The medium fits from 5'6" to 5'10" (168-178 cm), large from 5'9" to 6'1" (175-185cm), and extra large for 6'1" + (185cm+)
The Step-Through is equipped with a rear bag, Abus Bordo lock and emergency rain poncho.
Helmets and locks included free with every rental
We feature Abus Hyban helmets equipped with a solid or flashing red light on the back for safety.
